Obama's Idiocy over Pay

I'm a commissioned salesman. Have been for 28 years. I make over half of my income from commissions. That means I get paid a nice salary, and when I sell a lot of software, I got paid a lot more money. The customer wins, my company wins, and I get to pay my mortgage and car payment. My email address is commissioncheck@gmail.com. I'm damn proud of being a sales professional (I'm in the software business).

Now Obama is screaming about bonuses on Wall Street. These guys got paid $18 billion in bonuses. Sure we bailed them out, and sure, on the surface, you want to say, "No way". But listen:

If you had a contract with your company for pay, and they said "Sorry, we're not going to live up to that contract because the government has bailed us out", you'd be pissed off. And you'd have the legal right to sue for that money. Most importantly, you'd quit that chickensh*t company and go find another job. So your company would be in a world of hurt, because all of their salesmen would quit. And the economy would get worse.

Said Obama about Wall Street leaders: "There will be time for them to make profits, and there will be time for them to get bonuses. Now is not that time."

Not the time to make profits? Not the time to get bonuses?

This is the single dumbest thing Obama has said so far.

If they don't like it, then Congress should have put better conditions on the bailout money. This one is squarely on the heads of the Congress. And, it pains me to say, on W, for signing the bailout.

As President Obama pushes for the closure of Guantanamo Bay prison, the debate over where to house the terror detainees being held there is heating up.

An exclusive video of a former Gitmo detainee's martyrdom tape, obtained by FOX News, is a reminder of the concerns that terror suspects — who have been held but released from Guantanamo Bay — are increasingly returning to the fight against the United States and its allies.

Abdallah Ali al-Ajmi was transferred back to his home country of Kuwait after his release from Guantanamo in 2005. Last April he blew himself up in a homicide attack that killed 12 people in Mosul, Iraq.

Al-Ajmi, known in Guantanamo as Detainee 220, made his martyrdom tape before the attack.

"In the name of Allah, most compassionate, most merciful and prayers and peace be upon our Prophet," al-Ajmi says in the video. "I thank Allah, Lord of the Worlds, who freed me from Guantanamo prison and, after we were tortured, connected me with the Islamic State of Iraq [ISI]. And it is the gift of Allah to follow the path of this nation, the ISI."

In the video, translated by the NEFA Foundation, a non-profit that tracks terror groups, al-Ajmi mentions Guantanamo Bay right away. For many jihadists, having served time at Guantanamo is seen as a badge of honor.

Al-Ajmi's attack is one of the most well known and well documented cases of an ex-Gitmo detainee returning to the battlefield as a homicide bomber. His video renews concerns of many in the intelligence community of the potential consequences by releasing these prisoners.

Sixty-two detainees released from the U.S. Navy base prison in Cuba are believed to have rejoined the fight, said Pentagon spokesman Geoff Morrell, citing data from December. That's up from 37 as of March 2008, Morrell said.

The new figures come as President-elect Barack Obama issued an executive order last week to close the controversial prison. It's unlikely, however, that the Guantanamo detention facility will be closed anytime soon as Obama weighs what to do with the estimated 250 Al Qaeda, Taliban or other foreign fighter suspects still there.

President Obama warned Republicans on Capitol Hill today that they need to quit listening to radio king Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration.

"You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done," he told top GOP leaders, whom he had invited to the White House to discuss his nearly $1 trillion stimulus package.

What nerve, what arrogance. Does he really think he can threaten the Republicans in Congress?

Last time I looked these elected officials are citizens of the United States of America and can listen to anyone they want on radio. Obama is acting like a school yard bully towards these officials. Is this his idea of how Republicans and Democrats should work together?

Is Obama so insecure that he has to use threats to manipulate Congress in order to get his way? Is he so unsure of his position he has to use tactics we have not seen since WWII in Germany?

It is now January 22, 2009, two days after Obama took the oath which put him into the highest political position in this county.

If you have watched TV at all in the past two days you have seen the clips from some of the supporters of Obama. Jay Z and his rap song "My President is Black" is tantamount to racism.

This rapper was front and center during the inauguration as Obama took the oath. Has Obama given up one racist (Reverend Wright) for a younger, more visible racist who has the attention of every black young adult? Is this the music he lets his young daughters listen too? Are these the people who will be spending the night in the Lincoln bedroom?

What happened to Obama and his verbal spewing that we "all" have to get along and move this country forward?

If these are people he "hangs" with on the weekends then I say to you that the summer of 2009 will be a replay of the summer of 1968 that I saw in Detroit.

Official: Guantanamo Detainee Was Tortured

Susan J. Crawford says the techniques used on a man allegedly planning to participate in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks were "overly aggressive and too persistent".

What a crock of shit . Is this friggin' woman trying to get a job with the Obama administration?

"The techniques they used were all authorized, but the manner in which they applied them was overly aggressive and too persistent. . . . You think of torture, you think of some horrendous physical act done to an individual," she told the Post. "This was not any one particular act; this was just a combination of things that had a medical impact on him, that hurt his health. It was abusive and uncalled for."

Just because Ms. Crawford feels the use of these methods was over the top doesn't mean that this was wrong. This is her opinion and I bet NOT the opinion of those that lost loved ones on 9/11.

Honestly, I could care less what it took to get info from this less-than-human animal they have at Guantanamo. Hang him upside down by his toes, let the dogs lick him to death, blast Heavy Metal 24 -7. This piece of shit deserves no consideration at all.

We can only hope that the next time we are attacked Susan Crawford is front and center to see what this scum will do to innocent Americans. I hope she can sleep at night knowing she helped release another terrorist.
