Calvin Coolidge on fiscal restraint

This clip is 137MB in size...it is a speech given by President Coolidge in the Rose Garden on fiscal restraint in government. It is a fine speech...given by a rather luke-warm speaker. However, the points are as sound today as in 1924 when they were spoken. Interesting point...the Prez is ga-ga over a $7B number...one that astounds and is incomprehensible. Today, we spend that amount on fertilizer...in the House and Senate chambers.

I highly recommend that you download this clip and listen to it.
