The Boss on the Election

It is a little after 8:30 pm on election night and based on what we can see, Obama has won this election.

It bothers me that McCain/Palin lost but I am more pissed off that the American people voted for a man who has no integrity, moral direction, or conscience, and has no ability to tell the truth. I am pissed off at the people who were interviewed after voting and when asked if raced played any part into who they voted for, said "YES that is why I voted for Obama." I am pissed off because they are black and can say that on national TV and no one calls them on this as being racist. We all know if a white person had said that we would be called a racist.

I pissed off that two black men who are part of the Black Panther party can stand in front of a polling place and tell the people inside not to come out and imitate those trying to get in by swinging a night stick. And when the police are called nothing is done about it.

I am pissed off that a middle aged black women can say on national TV when Barrack is elected she won't have to worry about making her house payment and buying gas for her car, Barack will take care of her and now she doesn't have to worry anymore.

I am pissed off that many people who voted for the first time today could not even tell you what the Bill of Rights is about, forget about the chain of command. If something happens to the president, they have no clue as to the issues and how it will affect them.

I am pissed off that Obama played the race card more than once during his campaigning. He brought up slavery while speaking on the steps of the Detroit Public Library, he joked that he looks nothing like anyone on dollar bills, he took every opportunity to bring up race. I believe he has done more to drive a wedge between blacks and whites and has done more to undo what Martin Luther King brought together.

I could discuss numerous other reasons why I am pissed off but facts are facts, we survived Jimmy Carter but I am not sure we cannot survive what is coming.

I am going to get a good stiff drink, take a sleeping pill and hope that when I wake up in the morning I will discover I was in Emerald City with Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion………"there's no place like home"……there's no place like………ugh.

Wow!!! I can agree with a couple of the statements you made, but I'm pissed off that someone that wants to be heard about such a large topic doesn't know how to spell properly and uses double negatives. If you want someone to take you seriously then maybe you should take an entry-level English class and learn your language first.

Anonymous: Blow me. If THE BOSS wants to type when she's pissed off, and her grammar doesn't meet your standards, go read something else.

Below is a posted comment to one of my recent blogs on Texan in Wisconsin.

Anonymous is correct on both accounts and I apologize.

In my opinion, blogging tends to be a very informal communication medium. If my blog posts are not to be taken seriously because there could be grammar bloopers then so be it. I write these blogs for myself to release irritation at a person or event and not in the hopes of being taken seriously by anyone. In fact, most of the time I hope people see the stupidity and or humor in what I write.

Once again, I apologize and say "thank you" to Anonymous for your opinion and for taking the time to write.
